Where can I buy the cup inserts for a bikini top?

My wife is pregnant and she has E cup breasts. When we went shopping for a maternity swimsuit, the have the small cup inserts that do no reach the edges of each cup, and therefore look silly. Not only do I need to know where to buy them, but also if they make them for larger breasted women.

What kind of inserts are you looking for:

Pads that absorb breast milk

or padding pads, made to make breasts look bigger

Absorbent pads don't usually need to be worn with a bathing suit, because your suit gets wet, but the best way to get bigger absorbent pads is to make you own. you can cut pads out of towels or cloth diapers. you can wash them and reuse them till they fall apart or you don't need them any more.

Most women with large breasts do not like padding in there bras and swimsuits, I will even cut out the padding in swimsuits. Women with large breasts need more support from a bathing suit.

They do make breastfeeding swim suits, but ther usually pretty hard to find and expensive. When I was breastfeeding i wore a normal swimsuit that i could take off one side easily. throw a towel over you shoulder, pull one strap down your arm and remove breast from suit. If she's new at breastfeeding it might be easier if someone else holds the towel up to shield her. I baby sling can also provide shielding.

try looking at joann fabric or any other craft/fabric store

Where can I buy a maternity swimsuit with size 36G cups? In the UK preferably but online overseas shops are ok

I would like a full body swimsuit for the swimming pool, but I have enough trouble normally getting swimsuit to fit, and my old ones are now all too short in the body

Try bravissimo.co.uk

i am a 30G-GG and have found the answer to everything you could possibly want - bravissimo!

if you can visit a shop, they are the most helpful and well trained staff i have come across for a long time and are extremely good at making sure you are wearing the right size (most women don't!)

they have all kinds of underwear, including maternity bras, and have now branched out into swimwear, shirts, tops with built in bras and suits!

also try figleaves - i do prefer bravissimo because they cater soley for large boobed women but it's worth comparing stock and prices!

been here i am a 34G and got one in mothercare it was a few years ago though

You could try Figleaves, who do a wide range.

try maternity range at evans

Sheeeit Girl, 36 G! Come on over Reggie house. You don't need no swimm suit. Ol Reg can hide um for you

oldnavy.com

Im not sure if they deliver overseas but try

http://lanebryant.com and look in the Maternity section.

I don't know for a fact that you can get it here or not, there have been alot of times that i had to special order something and this is where i found it. On the second link, there is a number for peeps calling from UK...Hope this helps

Where is the best place to go to find CHEAP maternity Clothes?

I have been all over the web this morning looking for a decent place to buy maternity clothes. And I'm sorry but a $50 swimsuit is not cheap! I just need a few things to get me through the summer months, and we are strapped for cash. Any ideas?

I have had awesome luck at Target, they have adorable maternity clothing and it won't break the bank, I spent about $200 and got an entire mix and match wardrobe out of it. Old Navy is even getting a bit expensive for maternity clothes, come on you really only wear them like 6 months at the most! I have honestly had the best luck with ebay, because if you follow up on your bids you can get adorable clothing CHEAP. I spent no more than $20 including shipping and handling on all the clothes I purchased thru ebay, and found a ton of awesome independent sellers who have adorable clothing for usually around $10 for shirts and $20 for pants. Also for a $30 investment, buy a Bella Band. You put it over the top of your old pre-baby pants and it hides the zippers and buttons but looks like a lacy undershirt. Throw a tank top or shirt over it and presto, all your pants "fit"!!!

Old Navy sells a lot of large size clothes with long shirts that are perfect for a growing belly. Try Motherhood Maternity. You can go online and find it...google the name. The store itself is cheap on the clearance rack. I bought a $9 dress and $15 jeans. Online, I bought a skirt, shirt and pair of pants for $35 total.

Also try Target, its a little bit more pricey, but they do have really cute stuff. You might need some actual maternity shirts because they are formed to fit the stomach and regular shirts can rise up with your belly as you get to the end of your pregnancy. Believe me, your tummy will grow tremendously!

If all else fails, buy shirts a size larger than you normally wear and pants/skirts/shorts with elastic. You can get away with that without needing a whole lot of maternity clothes. And right now babydoll shirts are definitely in. So we're a whole lot luckier than 1980 when they wore big flowered shirts and ribbons.

And for those clothes you buy that aren't maternity, you can have them tailored to fit you after baby arrives!

old navy!!!!

I have always gotten my maternity clothes at used places..... most of the time you can go to a used child clothing place and they will have maternity clothes.... but i have also found some really great deals at Motherhood Maternity- in the clearance section.... they should have some clearance clothing that you would be able to wear during the summer.... but overall their clothes are not that expensive if you find the time to go through all the clothes on the racks.

Motherhood Maternity! I bought 3 pairs of pants, 1 pair of excersize pants, 3 nice shirts, a new bra, and the pregnancy sleeve all for $115!!! I love that store and they have very nice clothes. The women there also know all about maternity clothes which was a huge help!

YOU SHOULD EITHER GO TO THE GOODWILL OR GO TO OLD NAVY THEY HAVE REALLY CHEAP CLOTHES

i just went to the goodwill today and they had a ton of cute maternity clothes. how about ebay? sales racks at department stores like target, kmart, walmart, burlington coat factory

Old Navy, or try EBay, or www.Craigslist.com - People in your local cities selling used but good condition items, sometimes you can find something you like free. You can usually go down on the price if you let them know your situation.

Hope this helps!

My advice would be to not buy maternity shirts. With the current fashion, loose shirts are in style anyways, so just buy regular shirts that are a size big or something. As for pants, JC Penny, H&M, and Gap have good pants to buy. They are relatively cheap also, but it is rare to find pants on sale, unfortunately. As for a a swim suit, check out Target. Also, if you can't afford pants that aren't on sale (they can be like $40), buy pants that are one size larger and have a larger waist than most pants. You know how styles are different, there are a lot of pants that have slim waists and others with wider waists. My advice would be to check out the style of pants and just buy one size up instead of spending money on maternity pants.

Go to a second-hand store. I know Once Upon a Child sells gently used maternity clothing. Also you can usually find good sells at Old Navy and sometimes Target.

Burlington has good prices on all clothes you could check it out! I know they have a maternity section!

Desperate Leaving for Florida very soon! If so can you tell me what brand or show me a link? Its so hard to find a selection of Maternity swimsuits in store so Im guessing I have to order online. Online it is impossible to tell when they say padded if its just lined or has some good ompf to it. So if you have one with some good padding can you please tell me the brand? maybe even the style or a link too if you have a moment longer but if not just the brand would be a great help. Thanks

I need a maternity swimsuit but i don't want to spend too much. Where can i get one from?

All the ones i've seen are expensive

Mothercare do a simple maternity swimwear from 15 pounds.

http://www.mothercare.com/gp/node/n/42795041/?extid=ps_yho_Maternity-Generics_General+Clothing+Swimsuits_maternityswimsuit

There's a nice wee fashion black one on the site for just over 15 pounds but they dont have many left or there's some nice bright tankinis.

Try Goodwill or Salvation army or e-bay

Dont blame you, Neither did i huni.

I just went to Matalan and brought a tankini but 2 sizes bigger then i usually get.

Fits fine and it was only £4!!

im just buying a tankini in a larger size it is cheaper and maternity suits are a pain to find and are expensive no matter what

I went swimming last week and just wore a t shirt over my old swimsuit, i felt comfortable!

This time of year all stores have their swimsuits out. Just go to a cheaper store like Walmart or Kmart or Target. It might not be stylish but it will be a suit.

I suggest Target or Motherhood i got mine from motherhood last summer and it wasn't too expensive.

wal-mart?

What about just a bikini in a bigger size...show off that bump...if I ever get one I know I will :P nothing cuter than a big baby belly out in the open

target

Walmart or target or a.j wrights or you could just wear a big shirt and some shorts !

just buy a swimsuit meant for fat people

I bought mine at Old Navy, it was on clearance for like $15!

They used to sell them in Mother Care check it out

old navy

mookie has a great answer.

they are very stylish too. which is a plus.

Its this place called torrid its for plus size woman u could find a swim suit there

just wear a thong

Maternity Swimsuit for big busted plus size girls?

Can you recommend yours? I need one that will hold up a G cup size, but I am having troubles finding one anywhere. Can anyone recommend one please?

Have you tried Lands End. They make the BEST tops for the big busted. They also carry maternity. May be pricier, but try their overstock/outlet section also. Plus you can do returns at sears if you order it online, so you can order more to try.

Drat just looked, and looks like they dont carry maternity anymore. You may want to look at their regular suits anyway, if you can find a supportive top, might work with some maternity bottom.

Also Ive ordered things from the overstock - not quite perfect - link, and they;ve never had any defect I could find.

You could google "Maternity swimsuit". You might have to order it online. Or maybe just wear a bikini with a extra big cup size

Last year I bought mine at Target..Liz Lange makes some cute ones. The maternity ones go up to about XXL...but if you need bigger , why not try a tankini in the plus size department? I even had a cute one from newport news...pretty sure they go up to 18 , but if you get a dress one , it will fit your growing belly.

get bigger boobs and a bigger ***

just wear your bra and some shorts if you cant find the right size

Would you wear a maternity or bikini swimsuit?

I am going on vacation in July and I will be 6 1/2 months. What do you think?

I really give kudos to women who can wear bikinis. I think it is great if they have the courage to pull it off. Personally, I have a maternity tankini because I'm very self conscious. However, if you are a bikini wearing pregnant woman I admire you!

I think if you wear one you should take pictures - show them to your son or daughter when they get older! I love my mom's bump pictures!

I am in the same boat. I am going to the beach in 2 weeks, and I will be 15 weeks. I really dont want to wear the 1 piece I got,but I figure who cares, I dont know anyone down there, I might go with the bikini. Do whatever you want! I am going on a cruise in Aug, though I will be 23 weeks, i think I will pull the maternity swimsuit out then. We will see!

had it been my first pregnancy (our son is 13 months old) i would have worn a bikini if i were pregnant in the summer because i didnt get stretch marks til 37 weeks and from the back i didnt even look preggo until i started piling on weight at the very end (after 36 weeks) so it would have been cute. im now 26 weeks preggo with our second and well... i have stretch marks that didnt have the chance to fade and weight gain that never came off - also im growing wider which never happened with my first (i had jip curves right up til the end) so i'd be much more comfortable wearing a tankini maternity suit... with a pair of shorts. lol im not saying im huge, but i started this pregnancy at 155 lbs vs starting my first at 115 lbs so definately not feeling as hot :) i may venture in to buy one soon tho because its getting hot around here and i want to bring my litle guy swimming!

i would wear a bikini, but i have grown a lot of gross belly hair since becoming pregnant, so that would be a lot of hair removal, its so gross. it better leave when the baby is born, but yes if not for that problem i would totally wear a bikini, i think its cute with a belly

im about 7 months...i proudly wear a bikini. I still have great legs and arms...just a huge belly. I think a baby belly is a great accessory to a beautiful bikini body...if you got it, flaunt it. But i do understand some people dont like other parts of thier body and it makes them want to cover up- to each thier own! rock on! have fun on vacation and make sure to sunscreen that belly!!!

Not me personally, because I'm a BBW!!! (I had one for the backyard, though!)

However, I think it looks awesome for a regular sized woman to wear a bathing suit, and even a modest bikini.

i dont see the point in wasting money on it. u can still wear ur normal ones and just wear shorts aswell. unless u are that self conscious and want to cover up a bit more. but being pregnant is a beautiful thing and u should flaunt it!

I just got back form vacation and I am 5 months preggo qith a big belly but the rest of me hasn't changed. I wore a bikini everyday for the last month

why cover up ur baby body

its beautiful

try both on and whatever one you feel most comfortable in then there you go.

Have fun and God Bless.

I wore a one peice

Maternity Swim suits you can wear post-pregnancy?

I am wondering if I can get away with buying a cute maternity swimsuit and then wearing it after the baby is born, without it looking funny??? Or are there any regular suits that have enough room to wear as a maternity suit, and not get too stretched out?

My sister bought a maternity bikini...it was made so that it could be worn post-pregnancy. I really am not sure about the one-pieces, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some that have a removable panel or something of the sort.

I dont know about a pregnancy swim suit i would think you could go to like " Motherhood Maternity" and they would have something along those lines... But i am a plus sized girl and i would NEVER wear a swim suit because i hated how i looked in one... But i have a friend who is plus sized and she told me that at walmart they have these swim suits that have 2 layers... The under layer is TIGHT and it sucks in all the fat.. Like a gurdle... and then it has another piece that goes over it that looks kinda like a short dress... but having the 2 together makes me look so skinny! Like who would think you could wear a gurdle to the pool..lol... but i would think that post pregnancy this would be a great idea to kinda suck in all the extra skin that has not gone back to normal yet!!! Now i love to go swimming :) Best $40 i have ever spent!

Keep looking there momma.

xo Amber.

Yes, you can althtough with time, they will kind of sag in the belly. I used mine and it wasn't a problem til I tried it on again about 3 years later

Your best bet is to consult Customer Service/Contact Us features on sites that specialize in new fabric properties. There are new elasticities out there that a fabric specialist can answer.

just buy a regular one in a bigger size

motherhood has some online and so does target both in store and online..

i bought a black halter neck one its perfect now and will be good after babys born also..

Where can I find a maternity swimsuit that has boyshorts???

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A MATERNITY SWIMSUIT THAT HAS THE BOY SHORTS AND A TANKINI TOP. I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND NO LUCK-ALREADY TRIED AMAZON.COM, EBAY, WALMART, TARGET, MOTHERHOOD, PEA IN THE POD, ETC. NO LUCK=ANY IDEAS?????

Check out these and see if you like them:

possibly Old Navy. I remember seeing maternity bathing suits there but imnot sure if they were boy shorts and tankinis together. you might just look though, worth a shot.

I found one at JC Penneys about two years ago.

(sorry I have already given it away, otherwise I'd offer it up.... for free of course)

I've only seen swim skirts. Maybe try looking into non-maternity plus size swimsuits? Have you tried the Gap?

Where to get a maternity swimsuit for fitness?

i mean one for swimming laps - not some cute tankini. they are hard to find!

Have you checked the store "Motherhood". I've gone to the store a few times and I usually see them on sale. I've seen the tankini kind there but also regular one pieces as well.

I THINK THAT THE ONLY CHANSE IN FINDING WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR, IS TO ORDER ONE . I THINK IT IS MORE EASY TO DO THAT.WHY DO YOU NEED ONE ANY WAY?

Check with doctor before swimming. I know that in later stages of pregnancy some people think it's not wise. Chlorine and all.

Try ebay. I buy my swim suits on there all the time. They've got a huge selection

Maternity swimsuits!!! Help?

I need to find a plus size (20) maternity suit! Everything is over $80, and thats just not in my budget. Anyone have any websites I can check out?

Just buy a size 22 bathing suit...lol Kmart, Walmart. whateva. Don't waste $80 on something you'll only wear a few times. A bigger size should work just fine. Make it a one piece or even a two piece if you are a brag belly (no stretch marks lol)

I got my bathing suit from Target

what i did was find a nice pair of swim trunks and the cutest shirt i could find and wore that..if thats not what you want to do then go to a cute resale shop..

I found several maternity swimsuits in larger sizes on the J.C. Penney web site. The most expensive one was about $36. Hope this helps!

Go to Target. They have really nice maternity swimsuits there, or go to target.com

All are really reasonably priced, and cute.

Congrats!

walmart has cheap maternity suites but you can only buy them online

I agree with other posters, try the plus size department at walmart etc. you will find one that is inexpensive.

I got my "maternity" swimsuits from the plus size section at Wal Mart. Seriously. They're all about $30. I think I got a size 16 (was a 12/14 before pregnancy), so they should have size 20/22/24 (may have to go up a few sizes from normal) as well! Just try it on...it will fit differently than the way it would fit a non-pregnant plus-sized woman but it will still fit, and it's petty cute on the belly. It worked for me and it was very affordable.

I just got a two piece 2 sizes too big. The suit however looks like a one piece, so its super comfy. I got mine at walMart for 20$

i bought a maternity swim suit at old navy for less than $40. try checking out some consignment shops, you can find really nice used maternity clothes for next to nothing.

http://www.motherhood.com/plushome.asp?Media=Google_021207_MH_plus_size_motherhood&referer=&Plus=true

Good prices. Especially for those of us that need larger sizes. It proves to be more challenging for us!!

Do you think it is ok for pregnant women to wear 2 peice swimsuits at the beach?

I am going on a trip to Florida April 2, and will be about 25 weeks pregnant at that point. If you have shopped for maternity swimsuits you know it sucks, so i found a cut halter style bikini top (with lots of support) and a pair of mens board shorts to wear at the beach. When i got home my boyfriend wasn't sure it is proper etiquette to show my pregnant belly at the beach or not. What do you think?

I'd wear a shirt over it. I know celebrities show off the belly, or the whole body like Demi Moore, but I don't think you should be so exposed. Personal opinion.

Make sure you wear sunblock and don't get too much sun. (Sorry, I'm being a mom!)

congrats

When I had my first child I her due date was at the beginning of September, so I was very pregnant during the summer. I tried and tried to find a good maternity swimsuit but couldn't find anything that fit or was cute. So just bought a bikini with a good underwire top and that worked great. I got lots of compliments on it. I wore a little halter top over it at times especially in the middle of the day for a little more sun protection. But in general my belly was just there for the world to see and people were very complimentary about it.

So if you are comfortable showing your belly then go for it. It is hard enough to find anything that fits during pregnancy, so if you find something that works then wear it.

When I was 26 or 27 weeks we went to puerto rico and I just wore one of my 2 piece bikini's that I had already. Nothing else on me is bigger except my stomach so it didnt look bad. Its whatever your comfortable with! Im almost 38 weeks pregnant now and I still have no stretch marks and I think I look awesome for being pregnant so I would still wear the 2 piece! Its really up to you though hun...Good luck and have fun in Florida!!! Its cold where I am right now lol.

I think it's fine. During both of my pregnancies I wore the same bikini that I do now. I saw no reason to spend extra money on a maternity bathing suit when I had one that would still fit me just fine.

If anyone has a problem with it, they'll just have to get over it. Besides, my husband told me I looked cute when I was pregnant and in my bikini. :)

its not for me, i have seen people do it, and i really dont like the way it looks. in my opinion, if no other time in your life, is the time for modesty. but i would never tell someone else that they cant do it, if that is what they really want, it is just not for me. only my husband, children, and midwife see my pregnant belly in all its glory

I think that if you are proud of your pregnant body - show it off!!! I'm not sure there is such a thing as 'proper etiquette' at a beach... unless you're nude. Look at some of the bathing suits other women wear - little left to the imagination, no? I say go for it hun! Good luck to you - just be sure you wear plenty of sunscreen!!!

I think it's perfectly fine to wear a 2 piece bathing suit durining pregnancy. I am 24 weeks pregnant and I wear one. My husband loves it he thinks pregnant women are quite sexy. I say wear it, even if you have stretch marks, in my opinion those are just honor badges.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and wore a bikini today. its my body and im proud of my child (i wish she would come out already!!) if people stare or make rude comments that's them being immature. 25 weeks is not big and as long as you're comfortable who cares what other people think.

I wore a 2 piece my first pregnancy at 32 weeks, stretch marks and all, so I vote it's okay. I'll be wearing a 2 piece this time around as well. There's always someone who will look worse in their swimsuit than a cute prego, so I go for it.

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. If you feel more comfortable and happier wearing a 2 piece then I don't see why you shouldn't. And your on a beach so why shouldn't you be able to show your pregnant belly. I say wear it.

I think it's just fine, pregnancy is a beautiful thing. Who cares what others think. If you feel comfortable with wearing a two piece swinsuit then you should wear it.

As long as you're comfortable, it's fine. The only reason there aren't many out there is because most women aren't comfortable in bikinis while pregnat or because the people who make them weren't comfortable in them themselves.

http://www.surfsupmaternity.com/

If you're comfortable with it, go for it. I've never worn a 2 piece bathing suit in my life, but that's just me. I think it's cute.

I THINK THAT IT IS NORMAL TO WEAR A 2 PIECE BIKINI ON THE BEACH! I MEAN YOUR HUMAN ARENT YOU . . . IT IS ABSOLUTLY NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU DOING SO! I WILL DO IT TO IF I WERE IN YOUR SITUATION

WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK

Never be ashame to show your belly being pregnant is the most beautiful thing. And always you go as you feel.

Of course it's ok!!! Especially if YOU are comfortable. There is nothing to be ashamed of, and there is no "bad etiquette" in showing your belly!

I think a woman's pregnant belly is beautiful and should be shown off when ever possible!

Of course it is fine! Don't worry about it! If you feel comfortable with it, then it is your body and who cares what everyone else thinks!! Good Luck!! :)

It cute! Wear it! If someone doesn't like it their probably just jealous you look better in a bikini then they do.. Go for it.

Sure why not, its not like people are going to ***** at you for being pregnant.

OMG it's totally fine & CUTE! I'm 35 weeks and would totally sport a 2 piece if we lived anywhere near a beach!

Yes! I think it's cute. I'll do it!

I wouldn't do it, but if someone else is doing it that's her business.

yeah of course its ok to wear it.

I think it's cute and so do many other people only as long as u dont got alot of stretch marks!! So go for it girl!

You will probably not like my answer but, i agree with your b/friend. I for one don't want to see anyone's big belly.

Cheap maternity swimsuits?

We got a card in the mail to try out a local pool and I want to go so badly! Problem is - none of my swimsuits fit me! Anyone know of anywhere either in store or online that I could get a good deal on a maternity swimsuit?

I've tried a suit in a bigger size that I used to use and its way too big on the butt so it won't work. Everything I've found online is like almost $100 - I only have 2 mo to go so I don't really want to spend that much.

I found that the maternity swimsuits were so expensive so I just wore shorts and one of my maternity singlets (so much cheaper).

I bought mine from Motherhood Maternity for $25 on sale.

You could call a local store to see if they have the same suits on sale and in your size. If not the shipping is only $7.

Maternity swimsuits?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and going to the beach in a few weeks. I want to buy a swimsuit that will fit me all summer long, if possible. My breasts have already gotten noticeably bigger and my tummy looks fat so I can't wear the one I wore last year. I haven't been to a maternity store yet because I'm afraid that if I go in not knowing what I want, the sales ladies will try to sell me really expensive stuff that I don't need.

good question! Im 9 weeks and have a little baby bump too and i live at Lake Tahoe so i am always swimming in the summer. here is a cute website. i like some of the coverups too.

congrats!!!

try looking on line at

www.destinationmaternity.com

motherhood.com

target.cm and walmart.com

they have quite a few cute stiles you may be able to find something and then go to the store and get it or order it online. Also they usually don't try to sell you things you don't need at least not around here. it's not like buying a car.

i bought a maternity suit last year.I wore it once i ended up in my bikini most of the time

relax go to target or even walmart. just relax. most maternity swim suits will expand to fit you

I am just gonna wear a bikini.

Go to target.com

Im 9 weeks and have a little baby bump too and i live at Lake Tahoe so i am always swimming in the summer. here is a cute website. i like some of the coverups too.

congrats!!!

try looking on line at

motherhood.com

target.cm and walmart.com

they have quite a few cute stiles you may be able to find something and then go to the store and get it or order it online.
